With over 30 years of experience in the mortgage industry, Sherrill brings extensive expertise in underwriting and product development to her new role as Mortgage Loan Originator at Security Federal Bank. She has worked with a wide range of loan types and is especially knowledgeable in government loans, holding past underwriting credentials with FHA, VA and USDA.

Sherrill is dedicated to providing exceptional customer service, taking pride in guiding clients through the mortgage process with care, transparency and personalized attention. A long-time resident of the Augusta area, she is deeply connected to the local community. She is an active member of the Columbia County Chamber of Commerce, the Home Builders Association of the Greater Aiken-Augusta Region, and the Realtors of Greater Augusta.

Sherrill holds a degree in Business Management from Augusta College and also attended the University of Georgia. Outside of work, Sherrill enjoys spending time with her husband, Keith, and their 3 grown children. She is also a passionate advocate for the arts and was a founding supporter of a local youth theatre company in Augusta.
